We had a nice meeting with lots of good food. Odediah taught us all about manipulating colored roving with various spinning techniques. We also had our first annual fingerless mitts swap. Fun was had by all.

The November Guild meeting is Barnstead Swap
Barnstead NH pot luck lunch – bring your own utensils
To participate in the Yankee swap bring ONE 4 bag of 4 oz of clean fiber to spin. We will also display the items that people made with the fiber from last year.
The guild is also collecting items to donate for charity finished items such as hats, mittens or scarves.
The meeting at Barnstead was fun; lots of time to chat with friends and get reacquainted with those we don’t see as often. The food, of course, is always wonderful. There are so many good cooks in this group!
Lots of goodies in the Yankee Swap and lovely items made with the previous year’s fiber.
There were many hats and scarves donated for the Families in Transition and I’m sure they will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all who donated.
